Camo as a Fashion Statement

Well it's that time of year again.  Hunting season, the time of year that we all pull out our camouflage.  Camo is commonly worn by hunters to disguise themselves while out in the wilderness hunting, but it has also become a fashion statement meant to draw attention to those that wear it out and about.  Women and girls have decided that if you can't beat them, join them.  While men are the natural hunters and gathers, women have joined in the fun.  Weather it's out at the deer lease actually hunting or if they stay home and use the time to shop, they have gotten into the spirit of hunting season with full force.  Wearing deer season t-shirts and sporting camo with bling has become a way to stand out rather than a way to blend in with the scenery.  Camo comes in all different styles and colors.  Pink camo is popular with the girls, and it is always surprising how important the different styles of camouflage is for the men.  If you have ever had the pleasure of watching the hunting shows, you know the ones were the host is describing his hunt in a whisper as he sneaks through the trees to find his prey, the type of camo you choose for the area you are hunting in is very important.  It has made me realize the abundance of types of camo and the science behind it.  Since I live on peach creek I always ask my Dad if he has on his peach creek camo when he heads out to the deer stand.  He always nods and smiles.  Funny thing is he always has on a plain red t-shirt.  Hmmm, wonder if I can market that peach creek camo?
